You can take a RIPE NCC Academy Certification Exam during the RIPE Meeting from Monday, 18 May, to Wednesday, 20 May 2026. A dedicated exam room equipped with a laptop will be available at the meeting venue. You can choose to take any of our exams:

  • RIPE Database
  • BGP Security
  • LIR Fundamentals
  • IPv6 Fundamentals
  • IPv6 Security

Please note that we have a limited number of exam slots and promotional items available. We cannot guarantee availability.

Exam Slots

The available time slots per day are:

  • Monday: 10:00 – 17:00
  • Tuesday: 10:00 – 17:00
  • Wednesday: 10:00 – 17:00

Requirements

  • You need to register in advance to take an exam during the RIPE Meeting.
  • Exam slots are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Each exam takes a maximum of 60 minutes, with the exception of the LIR Fundamentals exam which takes 35 minutes. An additional 15 minutes is required for checks prior to the exam.
  • You need have a photo ID document with you.
