Abstract
RIPE meetings rely on the open exchange of ideas, but good technical work needs good delivery. This 90-minute tutorial is the final step in our new public speaking workshop. We started the development of this workshop on the request of the RIPE Chair team.
We have prepared some pre-event material to cover the theory of "storytelling" and "slide design", but in this live session what we want to do focuses entirely on delivery. We want to give the people the opportunity to practise stage presence, microphone handling, and managing nerves before the full-on RIPE meeting starts.
This session is open to everyone, whether they are a first-time speaker, a Working Group Chair, or just someone that wants to work on their public speaking skills.
