Abstract

Containerlab turns 6 this year - with over half a million installs, a rich ecosystem, plenty of write-ups, blogposts and repositories using it, it has become a popular project for creating virtual network topologies.

This talks is not aimed at presenting the tool itself, but rather the development process, and what worked for the project, what did not, and what challenges we faced while developing and maintaining a tool that has to support traditionally closed-source software and engage with a non-software developer userbase.
